Kimetsu no Yaiba

Kimetsu no Yaiba begins with Tanjirou Kamado, a kindhearted boy who lives with his family on a remote mountain and has shouldered the responsibility of supporting them since his father's death. When he travels to the nearby village to sell charcoal, he is caught outside after dark and taken in for the night by a stranger who warns him that flesh-eating demons prowl the woods once the sun sets, hunting anyone who strays too far from safety. By the next morning, Tanjirou's world has collapsed: he returns home to find his family slaughtered, with only his sister Nezuko still alive, only to discover that she has been transformed into a bloodthirsty demon. Refusing to abandon the last surviving member of his family, Tanjirou clings to the hope that Nezuko's humanity can be preserved while he seeks revenge for the rest of his loved ones. That desperate search leads him to the Demon Slayer Corps, a secretive group of swordsmen who hunt demons across Taisho-era Japan. As Tanjirou grows stronger, he fights beside fellow slayers Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, crosses paths with elite Hashira such as Giyuu Tomioka and Shinobu Kochou, and is drawn into the wider conflict surrounding Muzan Kibutsuji, the source of the demons' terror. The franchise expands from one family's tragedy into a brutal campaign that spans battles on the Mugen Train, in the Entertainment District, at the Swordsmith Village, and through the Hashira Training, where every clash can cost lives and Nezuko's fate remains at the center of the fight.
