MY FIRST STORY

MY FIRST STORY is a Japanese rock band from Shibuya, Tokyo. It was formed in August 2011, when Sho, Nob, and Masack of fromus invited Hiro and Teru to join a new group; the band name was given by K of Pay money To my Pain. Its music blends alternative rock, emo, and post-hardcore, combining emotional vocals with heavy guitars and melodic hooks. The current lineup consists of vocalist Hiroki Moriuchi (Hiro), guitarist Teruki Nishizawa (Teru), bassist Nobuaki Katō (Nob), and drummer Shōhei Sasaki (Kid'z). The band gave its first public performance in October 2011. On April 4, 2012, it released its debut album, "MY FIRST STORY", as the first title issued by INTACT RECORDS. The lead song, "Second Limit", received a music video by maxilla, and later that year the band appeared at SUMMER SONIC 2012. After the 2015 tour "WE ARE NOT ALONE TOUR 2015", Sho stepped back from live activities and Masack left in 2016. Kid'z joined that March, and the renewed band held its first show in that form at Shibuya O-EAST. In 2016, the fourth album "ANTITHESE" reached No. 4 on the Oricon weekly album chart and led to the band's first one-man concert at Nippon Budokan, where it played to 12,000 people. That was followed in 2017 by the documentary film "MY FIRST STORY DOCUMENTARY FILM－全心－". Later releases included the mini-album "ALL LEAD TRACKS" and the instrumental albums "BGM" and "sleeping" in 2020. The band has also worked extensively in anime music, performing "Mugen (夢幻)" and "Tokoshie (永久 -トコシエ-)" for "Kimetsu no Yaiba", "Sadame (さだめ)" for "Meitantei Conan", and "KING & ASHLEY" for "Kengan Ashura".
