Born in Tokyo, Japan, with blood type AB, Sora Amamiya, known in Japanese name order as Amamiya Sora, is a Japanese voice actress closely associated with anime and the seiyuu scene. She first became interested in the profession in high school after a friend who loved anime introduced her to it, and she later decided to pursue voice acting after seeing the work of Miyuki Sawashiro.
