Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi

Jingai Kyoushitsu follows Rei Hitoma, a self-professed misanthrope shaped by past trauma, who accepts a teaching job in the mountains in search of a quiet, restorative change of pace. Instead, he finds himself at a strange school built for demi-humans who want to become full-fledged human beings. Under his care are a mermaid, a werewolf, a rabbit, and a bird, each placed in his class as they try to learn what it means to live as human beings. As Rei teaches them about humankind, the classroom becomes a mirror for his own distance from other people. His students are not simply learning manners or facts; they are struggling with identity, belonging, and the uncertain path toward a life they cannot fully understand yet. The series is not an alternate-world story or a reincarnation fantasy. Its focus stays on the peculiar mountain school, the wary teacher at its center, and the unusual group of students whose efforts to become human may end up teaching Rei as much as he teaches them.
