FLOW

FLOW is a five-piece Japanese rock band built around the twin vocals of brothers Kohshi, the elder, and Take on guitar. The two began playing together in 1993 and formed the group in 1998; Keigo and bassist Got's joined in 1999, and drummer Iwasaki completed the line-up in 2000. The band calls its sound mixture rock, and the interplay of two singers over a hard-driving rhythm section is what gives its choruses their unusual width. FLOW made its major-label debut in 2003 with the single "Blaster" and went on to become one of the most prolific suppliers of anime theme songs of its generation. "GO!!!" was written for Naruto and "Sign" for Naruto Shippuden; "COLORS" and "WORLD END" opened the two seasons of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and "Kaze no Uta" opened Tales of Zestiria the Cross. That association has become the band's calling card abroad, where it now tours under the banner Anime Shibari, playing sets drawn entirely from its anime work.
