Tales of Zestiria

Tales of Zestiria the X is set in a world shaped by the Celestial Records, where the Seraphim are divine beings who bless humanity and are repaid with prayers, and the Shepherds are chosen people able to interact with those spirits, remembered as both heroes and threats. In the village of Elysia, Sorey has grown up living in harmony with the Seraphim, especially his childhood companion Mikleo, and the two spend their days exploring the myths and ruins connected to the history shared by humans and Seraphim. Their curiosity leads them underground, where an unexpected accident traps them in the dark and brings them face to face with a mysterious girl who begs for the help of a Shepherd to save a world on the brink of being consumed by darkness. Even after Mikleo warns him about contact with other humans, Sorey chooses to help her, and that decision pushes him into a larger struggle that tests his ideals, deepens his bond with the Seraphim, and draws him closer to his dream of peaceful coexistence between mankind and Seraphim.
