Sayuri

Sayuri was a Japanese singer-songwriter from Fukuoka. She began composing songs in middle school and won the Grand Prix at the 5th Music Revolution competition in 2012. She made her major debut in 2015 with the ending theme for Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace. Her career went on to include anime theme songs such as the ending themes for Erased and My Hero Academia, alongside collaborations with other artists and producers. Sayuri's music was characterized by emotional intensity, raw vocal delivery, and acoustic guitar-driven arrangements. Her lyrics often addressed struggle, vulnerability, and resilience, and she remained active as a performer and songwriter until her death in 2024.
