In Edens Zero, Shiki Granbell grows up surrounded by machines at Granbell Kingdom, a long-abandoned amusement park where he is the only human left. His quiet life changes when Rebecca Bluegarden and her feline companion Happy arrive as the park's first visitors in one hundred years, hoping to shoot fun videos for Rebecca's B-Cube channel. Instead, the meeting gives the socially awkward Shiki his first real friends. When Granbell becomes too dangerous for the three of them, they leave the empty park behind and head into the Sakura Cosmos. Rebecca wants more exciting adventures and a path to the elusive goddess Mother, while Shiki, guided by the words of his late grandfather, sets out to make more friends and see the wider universe. Though no one has ever seen Mother, he refuses to give up.
As their journey expands, Shiki's powers draw him into clashes with criminals, rival adventurers, and forces that rule entire planets. New allies steadily gather around the crew, including Weisz Steiner, Homura Kougetsu, the android E.M. Pino, and Rebecca's fellow entertainer Labilia Christy, while the ship Edens Zero connects them to the androids Witch Regret, Sister Ivry, and Hermit Mio. Across a galaxy where humans and machines constantly cross paths, the series blends space fantasy, comedy, and action around friendship, found family, and the search for Mother.
