Eve

Eve, real name Hiroki Mizuta (born May 23, 1995), is a Japanese utaite, singer-songwriter and Vocaloid producer. Active since 2009, he first drew attention by posting cover performances on Niconico. He later expanded that activity into composing original songs. In his early years he took part in the band einie and the vocal unit Riot of color. From 2015 he turned more toward self-written material. In 2017, the songs “ナンセンス文学” and “あの娘シークレット”, together with the album 『文化』, established his profile as a solo artist and singer-songwriter. His music combines elements of pop, rock and electronic music, and his singing alternates between a soft tone and a rougher delivery. In 2019 he made his major-label debut with Toy's Factory and 『おとぎ』. That same year he released “Yamiyo (闇夜)” for Dororo, his first theme for a television anime. In 2020 he reached a wider anime audience with “KAIKAIKITAN (廻廻奇譚)” for Jujutsu Kaisen. Later, songs such as “Fight Song (ファイトソング)” for Chainsaw Man and “Bokurano (ぼくらの)” for Boku no Hero Academia maintained his presence in anime music, while his career remained rooted in Japan's online singing scene rather than the idol circuit.
