Eve’s “KAIKAIKITAN (廻廻奇譚)” is the first opening theme of Jujutsu Kaisen. It was released digitally on October 3, 2020, alongside the television debut of the series. The song introduces a world where negative emotions become curses, but its point of view is also deeply personal: a young person tries to define himself inside a contradictory and hostile society. Tense guitars, fast percussion, and sharply rhythmic vocal lines keep the track in constant motion. That restless momentum matches Yuji Itadori’s sudden entry into the world of jujutsu sorcerers and the anime’s abrupt bursts of violence. The chorus widens the sound without fully releasing the pressure built by the verses. As a result, “KAIKAIKITAN” conveys more than battle energy; it also establishes the questions of identity, belonging, and moral responsibility that run through the series.
