Bubble

Bubble is set in a Tokyo cut off from the rest of the world after a mysterious explosion and a rain of gravity-defying bubbles transformed the city into a sealed, gravity-bending ruin. Five years after the Bubble Fall, the capital has become a prohibited zone where the streets are swallowed by a shifting sea of bubbles and collapsing buildings, and orphaned children survive by taking part in dangerous parkour team battles across the city’s broken skyline. Hibiki stands out as one of the best athletes in those contests, especially because he can sense and jump between bubbles. Drawn by sounds he believes are coming from Tokyo Tower, he pushes deeper into the forbidden zone in search of their source, only to fall into the waters below. There, he is rescued by a mysterious girl he names Uta. Her arrival pulls Hibiki toward the truth behind the catastrophe that changed Tokyo and the secrets hidden beneath the sealed city, while the two navigate a world where gravity itself no longer behaves as it should.
