CHiCO with HoneyWorks is a Japanese music unit formed in 2014, centered on vocalist CHiCO and the creator unit HoneyWorks. Emerging from the Utattemita scene and launched through the CHiCO with HoneyWorks Vocalist Audition organized by Sony Music Entertainment Japan, the project became one of the most recognizable names in modern anime music. HoneyWorks itself was formed in 2009 and includes Gomu, shito, and Yamako, while the collaboration is also associated with Music Ray'n. Their sound blends J-pop, pop, and rock with HoneyWorks' melody-driven songwriting and CHiCO's powerful, emotive vocals.
CHiCO with HoneyWorks has built a strong anime catalogue, providing opening and ending themes for series such as Ao Haru Ride, Magic Kaito 1412, Gintama, and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. Their discography includes major albums like Sekai wa i ni Michiteiru and iikoto ga Arundayo, and their songs often focus on youth, bittersweet romance, and the complexities of growing up.
