SPYAIR

Spyair, stylized as SPYAIR, is a prominent rock band hailing from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, formed in 2005. The band gained recognition for its energetic performances and a unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic music elements. Initially, they made a name in the Japanese music scene with their hit singles and dynamic sound, quickly becoming a staple in the J-Rock genre. On March 31, 2022, vocalist IKE announced his departure from the band due to his struggle with ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease. Following his exit, the remaining members—YOSUKE (Vocals), KENTA (Drums), MOMIKEN (Bass), and UZ (Guitar/Programming)—continued to perform as a trio until they introduced their new vocalist, YOSUKE, in April 2023, marking a new chapter in their musical journey. SPYAIR’s discography includes several successful albums and singles, with notable tracks like "I Wanna Be...", "Samurai Heart (Some Like It Hot!!)" and "Last Moment". They have also contributed to anime soundtracks, further elevating their profile. Their music often explores themes of perseverance, love, and the struggles of youth, resonating with a wide audience.
