Piko

Piko is a Japanese singer and utaite born on March 11, 1988, in Himeji, Japan. Known for his androgynous vocal tone and wide range, he first gained attention on Nico Nico Douga, where his performances helped him build a strong fanbase before he moved into professional recording work. As a solo artist, Piko is associated with pop-rock and ballad-driven songs that emphasize emotional delivery, strong melody, and a distinctive upper register. His appeal comes from the contrast between clarity and intensity in his voice, which gives his music a recognizable identity within J-pop and anime-related music. He is also linked to anime through theme-song work and other anison-related exposure, which made him a familiar name for listeners searching for anime music. Released through Kioon Music, Piko became part of the wave of internet-born vocalists who moved from online platforms into mainstream visibility while keeping a strong connection to utaite culture.
