Tegami Bachi

Tegami Bachi unfolds in Amberground, a land trapped in perpetual twilight and split apart by dangerous wilderness. In this isolated world, the Letter Bees serve as couriers, risking their lives to carry written messages across monster-haunted routes to remote settlements and keep the country’s fragile communities connected. Among them is Gauche Suede, one of the most admired Letter Bees, whose path crosses with Lag Seeing when the boy is carried as a letter on one of the service’s most unusual deliveries. Years later, Lag joins the Letter Bee service himself, determined to follow Gauche’s example and understand the meaning behind the work that once saved him. As he travels through Amberground, he meets people struggling to survive at the edge of the world and learns that every delivery can protect a memory, a promise, or the last bond between strangers. Tegami Bachi follows Lag’s growth as a courier while revealing the hidden burdens behind a network of trust that keeps the fractured land together.
