Kuroshitsuji

Kuroshitsuji follows young Ciel Phantomhive, the Queen's Guard Dog, as he handles the unsettling incidents that plague Victorian England on behalf of Her Majesty. At his side is Sebastian Michaelis, a black-clad butler whose seemingly impossible skill, poise, and efficiency make him more than a servant. Together they move through aristocratic salons, hidden crimes, and violent intrigue, with Ciel relying on whatever means are necessary to protect the Phantomhive name and finish the work that falls to his household. In Ciel's past lies a tragedy that left him in permanent darkness. During one of his most desperate moments, he formed a contract with Sebastian, a demon, trading his soul for the chance to take vengeance on those who wronged him. Since then, Sebastian has become the perfect servant to carry out his master's orders while patiently awaiting the day he can claim his reward. As the pair unravels the mystery behind Ciel's chain of misfortunes, their uneasy partnership grows into a bond that neither heaven nor hell can easily break.
