Fate/Zero

Fate/Zero unfolds in Fuyuki City, where the Fourth Holy Grail War draws seven Masters into a secret battle alongside the heroic spirits known as Servants. The prize is the Holy Grail, a miracle said to grant any wish, and every faction enters the conflict with a different idea of salvation, duty, or desire. Church supervisor Risei Kotomine watches over the ritual as the war threatens to spill beyond control, while Kiritsugu Emiya—the ruthless magus killer fighting for the Einzbern family—and Saber, the proud Servant at his side, pursue victory from sharply different ideals. Irisviel von Einzbern stands at the center of Kiritsugu's campaign, and the presence of dangerous figures such as Kirei Kotomine and Gilgamesh turns every alliance into a risk. As the war escalates, surviving combatants are driven into a fragile truce when a larger threat emerges, one capable of shattering the ritual itself and destroying the city if no one acts in time. The uneasy alliance quickly breaks apart, and the clash between Kiritsugu and Saber over heroism, chivalry, and the cost of peace only deepens. At the same time, Kirei continues searching for a purpose of his own, and an ominous connection forms between him and one of the remaining Servants. Fate/Zero follows a battle where every victory carries a cost, and the countdown to the war's end leaves triumph and ruin separated by a single decision.
