Nanawo Akari

Nanawo Akari is a Japanese singer-songwriter born on November 12, 1995, in Abeno-ku, Japan. From Osaka, she began her career as an independent musician in 2011, performing at live houses and uploading songs to Niconico before signing to Sony Music Entertainment Japan and making her major debut in 2018. Working in J-pop, she builds songs around bright melodies, electronic production, and playful hooks; her music is upbeat, direct, and highly melodic, with polished dance-pop energy, singer-songwriter clarity, catchy choruses, and a lively vocal delivery. Her major debut included "One Room Sugar Life (ワンルームシュガーライフ)", the opening theme of "Happy Sugar Life", and her first full album followed in October 2018. She later performed "Turing Love feat.Sou (チューリングラブ feat.Sou)" for "Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita", "Raika (雷火)" for "Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi", "Renai Nou (恋愛脳)" for "Engage Kiss", and "Seikai wa Iranai (正解はいらない)" for "Sentai Daishikkaku". In March 2026, after appearing alongside Surii and Chogakusei, she announced an October one-man live, and in June 2026 she was confirmed as a guest for Wienners' two-man tour.
