Miyuki Sawashiro

Miyuki Sawashiro (沢城 みゆき; born June 2, 1985) is a Japanese seiyuu, voice actress, and narrator from Nagano Prefecture, Japan. She began her professional career in 1999, after receiving a judges' special award at the Di Gi Charat newcomer voice actress audition on May 2, 1999, and made her debut as Puchi Charat in Di Gi Charat. Her first leading role in a television anime followed in 2001 in Shiawase Sou no Okojo-san. After early activity with Broccoli and Mouse Promotion, she transferred to Aoni Production on August 1, 2015. Alongside her voice work, Sawashiro has recorded anime songs. These include "ambivalent world" for "Bakemonogatari", "the last day of my adolescence" for "Monogatari", "Title nante Jibun de Kangaenasaina （タイトルなんて自分で考えなさいな)" for "Arakawa Under the Bridge", "Bookmark A Head" for "Strike Witches", and "Onegai☆Snyaiper (おねがい☆すにゃいばー)" for "No Game No Life". In 2011, she succeeded Masuyama Eiko as the third voice of Fujiko Mine in Lupin the Third. She was cast as Kitarō in GeGeGe no Kitarō in 2018, and made her live-action drama debut in Natsuzora in 2019. Her later work has also included Detective Conan, narration on Friday Mystery Club!!!, World Is Dancing, a classmate role in Sazae-san, and additional casting in the anime adaptation of Suikoden. She is the older sister of seiyuu Chiharu Sawashiro, married in 2014, and has said that she enjoys piano.
