MADKID

MADKID is a Japanese male dance and vocal unit formed on 2014-07-20 and signed to Nippon Columbia. The group consists of KENTO.i, LIN, SHIN, YOU-TA, and YUKI. Its lineup is built around two bilingual rappers and three vocalists, and its music blends J-pop, hip-hop, dance music, and electronic production. Across its songs, MADKID moves between rap verses, melodic hooks, and high-energy choruses. Since its debut, the group has worked across original releases and anime theme songs. MADKID developed a sustained association with Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari through the opening themes "RISE", "FAITH", "Bring Back", "SIN", and, in 2025, "Resolution" for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4. It also performed "Change The World" for Beast Tamer and "Mad Pulse" for Digimon BEATBREAK. In both its original material and its anime openings, MADKID combines rap delivery, harmony, vocal contrast, and choreography.
