Kana Asumi (born Kana Harada on August 12, 1983) is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, also known by the nickname Asumin. Active since 1999, she first worked in Fukuoka as a member of the voice-actress unit 「小梅伍」 before moving to Tokyo.
After adopting the name Kana Asumi in 2004, she began her professional voice acting career in 2005 through the game 『クロスワールド 〜見知らぬ空のエターティア〜』. In 2007, she took her first television anime lead, playing Yuno in "Hidamari Sketch". She moved to 81 Produce in 2008, won the Best Rookie Actress award at the 3rd Seiyu Awards in 2009, and was a member of the girl group LISP from 2010 to 2011.
Her work spans anime, games, and character-song projects. As a singer, she performed "COOLISH WALK", the OP of "Working!!"; "Souzou Diary (想像ダイアリー)", the ED of "Nisekoi"; and "Kanojo ga Flag wo Tateru Wake (彼女がフラグを立てる理由)", the ED of "Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara". In 2012, she shared the theme song award at the 17th Animation Kobe for "太陽曰く燃えよカオス". In 2013, she won the Leading Actress award at the 7th Seiyu Awards and also received a Singing award as a member of 後ろから這いより隊G. Her singing voice is classified as soprano.
