Working!!

Working!! unfolds at Wagnaria, a family restaurant in Hokkaido where every shift can spiral into a new workplace disaster. Souta Takanashi, a high school student who takes a part-time job there, quickly learns that the kitchen and dining room run on their own brand of chaos: orders are missed, tempers flare, and ordinary chores become far more complicated because of the staff's wildly mismatched personalities. Around Souta are the restaurant's unforgettable employees: Popura Taneshima, small in stature but eager to be taken seriously; Yachiyo Todoroki, the floor chief who treats her katana with complete sincerity; Jun Satou, the intimidating head chef; Hiroomi Souma, the sharp-tongued sous chef; Kyouko Shirafuji, the lazy manager who keeps the place together just enough; and Mahiru Inami, whose fear of men turns simple conversations into mayhem. Across the Working!! franchise, their daily routines, awkward friendships, and slow-burning romantic-comedy tension create a light, fast-moving story where the job itself is as important as the people doing it.
