eufonius

eufonius is a Japanese group active since 2003. The project debuted on October 11, 2003 and is built around riya, vocalist, lyricist and composer, and Hajime Kikuchi, keyboardist, composer and arranger. Within the duo, Kikuchi defines the instrumental foundation, while riya handles the vocals and lyrics. Their music combines progressive rock and j-pop, with melodic songwriting, layered arrangements and keyboard-driven textures. The group has also released music through Lantis. Over the course of their career, eufonius has become closely tied to anime and video game music through opening themes such as "Reflectia (リフレクティア)" for "True Tears", "Hiyoku no Hane (比翼の羽根)" for "Yosuga no Sora", "Paradigm (パラダイム)" for "Kokoro Connect", "Kokoro ni Tsubomi (ココロニツボミ)" for "Konohana Kitan" and "Megumeru ~cuckool mix 2007~ (メグメル～cuckool mix 2007～)" for "Clannad".
