Tokyo Ghoul unfolds in a Tokyo where humans live alongside flesh-eating ghouls who hide in plain sight and survive by preying on people. Ken Kaneki, a quiet college student who only wants an ordinary life, is pulled into that secret world after a chance meeting with the mysterious Rize Kamishiro turns into a nightmare.
