Kill la Kill

Kill la Kill follows Ryuuko Matoi, a sword-wielding drifter who arrives at Honnouji Academy determined to find the person who murdered her father and to reclaim the missing half of his invention, the Scissor Blade. The school is ruled by Satsuki Kiryuuin, a cold and unyielding student council president, and her Elite Four, who enforce a brutal hierarchy where status is earned through combat. At the top of that system are the Goku Uniforms, special clothes that grant their wearers extraordinary power and turn the campus into a battlefield. After a crushing defeat forces Ryuuko back to the ruins of her home, she discovers Senketsu, a rare sentient Kamui, or God Clothes. When Senketsu awakens through contact with Ryuuko's blood, the two form a volatile bond that unleashes overwhelming strength. Armed with Senketsu and the Scissor Blade, Ryuuko challenges the Elite Four one by one, pushing toward Satsuki, the truth behind her father's death, and the system that keeps Honnouji Academy under control.
