Highschool of the Dead

In Highschool of the Dead, a mysterious outbreak turns the dead into violent predators and throws Japan into total chaos. When the nightmare reaches Fujimi High School, Takashi Kimuro is forced to kill his best friend after he is bitten and becomes one of the walking dead. With the school no longer safe, Takashi and Rei Miyamoto — the girlfriend of the boy he just executed — flee into a society that has already collapsed. As they search for their family members and try to uncover what caused this overwhelming pandemic, they join forces with other survivors: Saeko Busujima, the beautiful president of the Kendo Club; Kouta Hirano, an otaku with a fetish for firearms; Saya Takagi, the daughter of an influential politician; and Shizuka Marikawa, their hot school nurse. Cut off from the world and surrounded by the undead, the group must rely on each other's strengths, endure brutal encounters, and keep moving through a country sinking deeper into an apocalypse where every refuge can become another trap.
