About the song
"silky heart" is a song by Yui Horie that served as the second opening theme for the TV anime Toradora! (とらドラ！), produced by J.C.Staff. It was released on January 28, 2009 as Horie's 10th single.
The single pairs "silky heart" with the coupling track "Love Countdown" and also includes off-vocal versions of both songs. Satomi wrote the lyrics for "silky heart", Koji Tamaki composed the music, and Tatsuo Ogawa arranged it; the single reached No. 4 on Oricon's weekly singles chart, and the song later appeared on Horie's studio album HONEY JET!!
