TRUSTRICK is a Japanese musical duo formed in April 2014 by Sayaka Kanda and Billy. Blending pop rock with a polished, emotional sound, the pair quickly stood out for songs that balance strong melodies, guitar-driven arrangements, and expressive vocals. The duo’s early identity was established with its first album, "Eternity," released on June 25, 2014. From the beginning, TRUSTRICK positioned itself as a project centered on a modern rock approach with a pop sensibility, making its music accessible while still retaining a dramatic edge. TRUSTRICK also became familiar to anime listeners through theme-song work, helping connect the project with the wider anison scene. As a result, the duo is remembered not only for its short but distinctive run, but also for the strong chemistry between its two members and its place within contemporary Japanese pop rock.
