Juuou Mujin no Fafnir

In Juuou Mujin no Fafnir, the world has been transformed by the sudden appearance of Dragons and by the girls who awakened powers tied to the same destructive force. In response, Midgar, an all-girl academy, was created to train those gifted students known as D's. They can generate dark matter and shape it into powerful weapons, placing them at the front line against the monsters that threaten humanity. The D's are a relatively recent phenomenon. Twenty-five years ago, they did not exist; they emerged after the Dragons appeared across the world and then vanished just as mysteriously, leaving behind a new generation of girls marked by symbols on their bodies. Into this volatile world comes Yuu Mononobe, the first and only male student ever admitted to Midgar and the only known male D. As he adjusts to life at the academy, Yuu is forced to earn the trust of the girls around him, including the sister he has been separated from for years, while the students continue to investigate the Dragons and confront the danger they still pose to humanity.
