Sonar Pocket

Sonar Pocket is a Japanese J-pop band formed in April 2005 and made up of eyeron, ko-dai, and matty. Their sound is built around melodic songwriting, warm harmonies, and emotionally direct lyrics, qualities that have helped the group stand out in contemporary Japanese pop. Signed to Universal Music LLC, Sonar Pocket has developed a polished, accessible style that emphasizes singable hooks, romance, everyday emotions, and encouragement. That balance of brightness and sentiment gives their music broad appeal while keeping it intimate and easy to connect with. For listeners who discover J-pop through anime openings and endings, the band fits naturally into that space thanks to its clear melodies and memorable choruses.
