Nozomi Yamamoto

Nozomi Yamamoto (山本希望, born August 9, 1988, in Misawa, Japan) is a Japanese voice actress, rapper, and singer affiliated with VIMS. Active since 2010, she moved to Tokyo for university and trained in voice acting. Her voice-acting debut came in 2011 with the game "ぎゃる☆がん". That same year, she made her first anime appearance in "聖痕のクェイサーII", and later in 2011 took her first main anime roles in "僕は友達が少ない" and "UN-GO". Alongside her acting work, Yamamoto has performed anime songs. She sang the "Absolute Duo" ending themes "Believe×Believe" and "Apple Tea no Aji (アップルティーの味)", performed "Oato ga Yoroshikutte... yo! (お後がよろしくって…よ!)" for "Joshiraku", and later sang "Ringo-iro Memories (りんご色メモリーズ)" for "Nande Koko ni Sensei ga?". Anime-related releases have also credited her as Chizuru Tachibana. In 2020 she opened a YouTube channel as MCのじょ and began posting rap videos. In March 2025, she was announced as part of the voice cast of The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl.
