Kenichi Suzumura is a Japanese seiyuu and singer born on September 12, 1974, in Niigata, Japan. He is represented by INTENTION, the talent agency he founded after leaving Artvision in 2012, and is also associated with Lantis. His career spans anime, tokusatsu, and character-song projects, and he has built a steady profile as both a voice actor and recording artist within Japanese pop and seiyuu music.
Suzumura is a member of the seiyuu group STA☆MEN, alongside Junichi Suwabe, Daisuke Kishio, Hiroki Takahashi, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Makoto Yasumura, and Kousuke Toriumi. The group performed the ending theme for the Super Sentai Series tokusatsu drama Go Busters and released it as their third single. He is also part of CONNECT, the first Kiramune unit, with Mitsuo Iwata; CONNECT released three mini-albums and one single. As a solo artist, Suzumura has released 10 singles, two albums, and one mini-album.
Outside music, Suzumura's blood type is A, he is 174 cm (5'8'') tall and weighs 56 kg (123 lbs). His favorite animal is the dog, and he has two dogs named Ivy and Momo. He likes curry and Pino ice cream, enjoys cooking and playing video games, can speak Kansai ben/dialect, and has a younger brother, Masaki, and an older sister, Shizuka. He has also practiced Aikido. Suzumura married fellow seiyuu Maaya Sakamoto on August 8, 2011. He temporarily paused activities in May 2024 due to health issues, resumed on July 31, 2024, and in February 2026 announced another health-related hiatus after being diagnosed with adjustment disorder; an acoustic live tour scheduled for April 2026 was also canceled.
