Biography
Keina Suda is a Japanese singer-songwriter whose work bridges the Vocaloid scene and anime music. He first gained attention in 2013 by posting Vocaloid songs under the pseudonym balloon, building an early reputation as a producer and creator within Japan’s online music community.
That background in Vocaloid shaped the sound and identity that would later define his solo career. As balloon, he developed a following among listeners drawn to melodic songwriting and digital-era production, and that recognition gave him a foundation before stepping forward as a vocalist in his own right.
In 2017, he began releasing music under his own name, Keina Suda, marking an important shift from anonymous Vocaloid production to a more personal singer-songwriter identity. The move brought greater visibility to his solo work while keeping the emotional directness and modern songwriting style that had already made him stand out.
His profile in anime music became especially notable in 2018, when he performed "veil," the first ending theme for Fire Force. The song introduced Keina Suda to a wider anime audience and helped establish him as an artist associated with anison as well as Vocaloid-rooted songwriting, linking his digital music background with one of his most recognizable anime contributions.
