Kana Nishino (西野カナ) is a Japanese J-pop singer and songwriter born on March 18, 1989, in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture. She debuted on February 20, 2008, with the single "I," and her music blends mainstream pop with R&B, reggae, and hip-hop influences. She has released numerous hit singles and albums through SME Records and has also been associated with Newcome Inc.; influenced by Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez, she was announced in 2026 as the performer of the opening theme for the second cour of "Honzuki no Gekokujou: Ryoushu no Youjo".
