Hearts Grow

Hearts Grow is a Japanese five-piece band formed in 2006, known for a j-pop and pop rock sound built around Haruna (はるな) on vocals, Chiaki (ちあき) on keyboards and vocals, Natsumi (なつみ) and Shintarō (しんたろう) on guitar, and Yūsuke (ゆうすけ) on bass. The lineup gives the group a clear balance between melody, harmony, and guitar-driven arrangement. Haruna was born on 27 October 1986, and Chiaki was born on 23 October 1986. Together, they form the vocal and melodic center of Hearts Grow, with Chiaki adding keyboards to the band’s sound. Natsumi was born on 24 May 1986, Shintarō was born on 15 February 1987, and Yūsuke was born on 17 February 1988, completing the group’s core lineup. Signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan, Hearts Grow developed a straightforward band identity that highlights each member’s role while keeping the focus on compact, hook-driven pop rock performance. The combination of five members, dual vocals, and dual guitars makes Hearts Grow easy to recognize in Japanese band and artist catalogs.
