Hometown: Hyogo Blood type: A Gero (ゲロ, usually written in romaji), nicknamed Gerorin, is an utaite known for singing loudly and "passionately" (as opposed to "logically") in his covers. However, he has also covered songs where he sings seriously, such as Just Be Friends. He has a low-pitched and slightly rough voice but can reach high notes with his screaming. He always sings with a lot of emotion, making him stand out among other singers from Niconico Douga. Gero participated in the 3rd Annual Anisong Grand Prix under his real name Hiroki Kinjou and made it to the finals. In his profile for the competition, he mentioned that he was also part of the Himawari Theatre Group for four years (from elementary to junior high). He chose the name "Gero" (which is slang for "vomit") because he felt nauseous when he recorded his first video. Gero is also part of the YouTuber group Niku Chomoranma alongside fellow utaite Meychan.
