Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas

Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas (FaLiLV) is a Japanese electronicore band formed in Kobe in 2008. The group combines post-hardcore, heavy metal, and electronic elements such as trance and techno, and its sound is centered on the contrasting twin vocal dynamic between So's melodic singing and Minami's screaming and rapping, supported by keyboard-driven arrangements. The band gained wider attention through anime tie-ins, including 'Chase the Light!' for Kaiji: Against All Rules, 'Just Awake' for Hunter x Hunter, and 'Let Me Hear' for Parasyte -the maxim-. These songs helped establish the group in the Japanese loud rock scene. Their discography includes full-length albums such as 'Dance & Scream', 'All That We Have Now', 'New Sunrise', 'Hypertoughness', and 'Cocoon for the Golden Future'. The lineup changed after guitarist Sxun left in 2018 and bassist Kei died in early 2019; bassist Tetsuya joined in 2019.
