Every Little Thing

Every Little Thing is a Japanese pop and soft rock group formed on 1996-08-07. The act debuted on Avex Trax in August 1996 with the single "Feel My Heart" and was originally a three-member group made up of Kaori Mochida, Ichiro Ito, and Mitsuru Igarashi. In its early period, Igarashi shaped the group's sound and direction, while Mochida and guitarist Ichiro Ito became the core of the project. The music blends J-pop, pop rock, and ballad-driven arrangements, with melodic songwriting, polished production, atmospheric textures, Kaori Mochida's warm, expressive vocal delivery, and guitar work from Ichiro Ito. Every Little Thing had hits including "Dear My Friend" and "Time goes by". The album Time to Destination became its biggest seller, with more than 3.5 million copies sold in Japan. In March 2000, Igarashi left the front lineup, and Every Little Thing continued as a duo. The group has also performed anime theme songs, including "Grip!" for InuYasha and "Jirenma" for Initial D.
