Emiri Katou

Emiri Katou (加藤英美里; born November 26, 1983) is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Fussa, Tokyo, Japan. Active since 2004, she debuted in 今日からマ王! and had her first starring role the same year in ネポス・ナポス. She later voiced Momoko Akatsutsumi/Hyper Blossom in 出ましたっ!パワパフガールズZ and Kagami Hiiragi in Lucky☆Star. At the 2nd Seiyu Awards, she won Best New Actress and shared the Best Singing Award for "Motteke! Sailor Fuku"; at the 6th Seiyu Awards, she received Best Supporting Actress. She left 81 Produce in 2022 and joined Stardust Promotion. As a singer, Katou began solo activity with the 2008 album vivid and has been associated with Pony Canyon. Her career has combined voice acting with character songs, anime-related releases, and other music projects tied to animated series, with a pop-oriented musical style. She performed anime themes including "Kaerimichi (帰り道)" and held her first live concert, Splash of waters, on October 10, 2010. From 2011 to 2016, she and Kaori Fukuhara worked as the duo Kato*Fuku, which sang theme songs for When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace and released three albums.
