Motteke! Sailor Fuku

Motteke! Sailor Fuku is the first opening theme for the 2007 anime Lucky☆Star (らき☆すた), produced by Kyoto Animation. It is performed by Emiri Katou, Aya Hirano, and Kaori Fukuhara, who voice the series’ main characters. Released as a single on April 25, 2007, the song was later included in the Lucky☆Star Character Song Series.

Written in an upbeat J-pop style, the track was composed and arranged by Kōhei Tanaka with lyrics by Tōko Machida. It reached No. 5 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart in Japan and became closely associated with the wider anime music scene.
