BURNOUT SYNDROMES

BURNOUT SYNDROMES is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005 in Kumamoto and led by 熊谷和海. The group is known for energetic, melodic songs that sit between rock and pop-punk, with sharp guitar riffs, fast arrangements, and anthemic choruses that make its music a natural fit for anime openings. That sound has made BURNOUT SYNDROMES a familiar name for anime fans, especially through Haikyuu!!, where the band performed the opening themes "Imagination" and "Fly High!!". Those songs became closely tied to the series’ themes of competition, teamwork, and momentum. The band has also received critical acclaim and several awards, including recognition at the Anime Awards, and as of 2023 it remained active, continuing to release new music and collaborate with other artists while maintaining a strong place in anime music. The group has released music through Epic Records Japan.
