Ayase

Ayase is a Japanese producer, composer, and Vocaloid artist born Keiichiro Tanaka (田中啓一郎) on April 4, 1994, in Ube, Japan. He first gained attention in the Vocaloid scene for intricate electronic arrangements and emotionally direct songwriting, developing a style that blends digital production with memorable J-pop melody. He is best known as the composer and creative force behind YOASOBI, the duo that adapts short stories into chart-topping songs. Ayase’s solo work expands that approach through layered harmonies, dramatic pop structures, and synth-driven arrangements, and he is signed to Sony Music Records. As both a solo artist and a producer, he has built a catalog that connects Vocaloid culture with mainstream Japanese pop, making him an essential name for listeners exploring modern Japanese music.
