2PM

2PM is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment that officially debuted on September 4, 2008. Its members have included Nichkhun, Jun. K, Ok Taec-yeon, Jang Wooyoung, Lee Jun-ho, Hwang Chansung, and Jay Park, who left the group in 2009. The group is associated with dance-pop and K-pop and initially developed a tough, masculine image through intense performances, athletic choreography, and acrobatic stunts, contributing to the South Korean "beast idol" phenomenon. It later adopted a more gentlemanly performance style. 2PM expanded beyond Korea through Japanese-language releases and a catalog ranging from high-energy singles to smoother, more melodic tracks. The group achieved commercial success in South Korea, Japan, and Thailand, and its song "Take off" was used as the ending theme of "Ao no Exorcist".
