Tokyo Revengers

Tokyo Revengers follows Takemichi Hanagaki, whose second year of middle school was the peak of his life: he had respect, a dependable group of friends, and even a girlfriend. Twelve years later, he has sunk to the bottom of his own life, mocked by children and forced to apologize to his younger boss every day. A news report about the Tokyo Manji Gang's brutal murder of the only girlfriend he ever had, Hinata Tachibana, and her brother pushes him even deeper into despair. Moments before a train is set to end his life, Takemichi suddenly flashes back to the same day twelve years earlier, when he was still dating Hinata. After reliving the point where everything began to fall apart, he meets Hinata's younger brother and, without thinking, reveals his apparent death before being thrown back into the past. He urges him to protect his sister, then returns to the future and discovers that he somehow survived—and that the future has changed. Realizing that he can alter the flow of time, Takemichi keeps leaping between past and future in a desperate attempt to rewrite the course of events, change the future, and stop the Tokyo Manji Gang from claiming Hinata's life.
