TUYU

Tuyu was a Japanese music unit consisting of five members: a guitarist and music producer, a vocalist, a manga artist who worked as an illustrator and designer, an animator who also worked as an illustrator, and a pianist, all under their own independent music label named TUYU (2020–2024). On June 11, 2019, Pusu, a vocalist and music producer who had recently stepped down as a vocalist, tweeted that he was working on a new original song in addition to "new things." The following day, June 12, Pusu revealed through a tweet linking to a YouTube video on his now rebranded channel that the original song he had been working on was not a solo project and was titled "TUYU - やっぱり雨は降るんだね," suggesting that the "new things" might be a new band. Later that same day, about 35 minutes after Pusu's tweet, a new Twitter account named TUYU_official was retweeted by him, officially announcing the formation of the music unit Tuyu. Their first upload as a band was the song Yappari Ame wa Furunda ne, which was uploaded on June 12, 2019, and the same name was used for their first album released later on February 19, 2020. All of their music videos up until the last one, titled Kako ni Torawarete Iru, have been animated by AzyuN, featuring art by Omutatsu.
