TUYU was a Japanese five-member music unit formed on June 12, 2019. The project brought together Pusu, 礼衣, miro, AzyuN, and おむたつ, and their lineup included a guitarist and music producer, a vocalist, a manga artist who also worked as an illustrator and designer, an animator, and a pianist. Their sound blended j-pop, j-rock, yakousei, and anison influences, which made them stand out in the anime music scene.
The project began on June 11, 2019, when Pusu announced via Twitter that he was working on a new original song. The next day, the group released "Yappari Ame wa Furunda ne," which also became the title of their debut album, issued on February 19, 2020. They operated under their independent music label TUYU from 2020 until their disbandment in 2024. TUYU also became known for its animated music videos, including "Kako ni Torawarete Iru," whose animation was created by AzyuN and whose artwork featured Omutatsu. Their later years were overshadowed by legal issues involving Pusu, who was arrested on May 31, 2024.
