Strike the Blood

Strike the Blood is set on Itogami Island, an artificial city where humans, demons, and other supernatural factions live together under a precarious peace. Kojou Akatsuki appears to be a normal student until a strange encounter awakens the dormant power of the Fourth Progenitor, a vampire whose existence makes him a threat in the eyes of those who would fear, exploit, or destroy him. As that power begins to surface, Kojou is drawn into the island’s hidden conflicts and the political tensions that keep its balance intact. To keep him under watch, the Lion King Organization sends Yukina Himeragi, a young sword-shaman apprentice, who is tasked with monitoring him and, if necessary, eliminating him. Instead, the two form an uneasy partnership and are pulled into battles against rogue monsters, rival powers, and conspiracies that threaten Itogami Island’s fragile peace. Across the Strike the Blood franchise, Kojou struggles to control his abilities, protect the people around him, and survive in a world where school life, action, and urban fantasy constantly collide.
