Rewrite

Rewrite unfolds in Kazamatsuri, a modern city lush with greenery and steeped in Japanese tradition, where high school student Kotarou Tennouji appears to live an ordinary life. He spends his days teasing the self-proclaimed delinquent Haruhiko Yoshino and quietly nursing feelings for the strange, elusive Kotori Kanbe, but his curiosity keeps pulling him toward the supernatural side of town. That curiosity becomes impossible to ignore once he awakens a power that lets him permanently rewrite parts of his own body, multiplying his strength or speed at will. After meeting Akane Senri, the lone member and president of the Occult Research Club and Kazamatsuri's self-styled "Witch," Kotarou helps rebuild the club by bringing together Kotori, the clumsy transfer student Chihaya Ohtori, the strict class representative Lucia Konohana, and the unassuming Shizuru Nakatsu. Their everyday banter and school life gradually expose hidden secrets in each of them, while their investigations lead toward the mysterious girl Kagari and a larger conflict tied to Kazamatsuri itself. Mixing romance, supernatural mystery, and escalating stakes, the series follows Kotarou as he tries to understand his friends, the power he carries, and a fate he may be the only one able to change.
