Kimi no Iru Machi follows Haruto Kirishima, a country boy whose quiet life is upended when Yuzuki Eba arrives from Tokyo to stay with relatives nearby. Their brief time together leaves Haruto with a crush he cannot shake, and when Eba disappears without explanation, that first encounter becomes the memory that shapes everything that follows.
When Haruto later moves to Tokyo to live with his sister while pursuing his dream of becoming a cook, he hopes the city will bring him closer to Eba. Instead, everyday life only deepens the distance between them. On his first day, he is mistaken for a burglar and attacked by his sister’s neighbor, Mishima Asuka, a fierce and perceptive girl whose blunt honesty quickly sets her apart from everyone else around him. As the misunderstanding fades, Haruto finds himself drawn to the way Asuka sees through him, even as Eba continues to avoid him for reasons he does not understand.
Set between rural calm and the pressures of city life, Kimi no Iru Machi traces a fragile triangle of first love, growing ambition, and choices that can change the way people see one another.
