Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai unfolds at Shuchiin Academy, an elite school where student council president Miyuki Shirogane and vice president Kaguya Shinomiya stand at the top of the student body. Both are admired for their intelligence, discipline, and composure, and both are painfully aware of the feelings they have for one another. The problem is not whether they care; it is which of them will be the first to confess, because neither is willing to suffer the humiliation of losing in love. From that standoff, the series turns everyday school life into a comedy of strategy and pride. Ordinary conversations become carefully planned traps, small gestures are treated like decisive maneuvers, and every misunderstanding opens the door to another elaborate attempt to force the other side into admitting defeat. The student council's daily routine is therefore anything but ordinary: meetings, errands, and casual exchanges all become battlegrounds where affection is hidden behind tactical thinking and embarrassment. Around them, the people who share their world only make the situation more chaotic, pushing the rivalry toward ever more absurd, funny, and emotionally charged extremes.
