Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara unfolds in a world where color magic quietly shapes everyday life, even as Hitomi Tsukishiro has grown up unable to see color, feel emotion, or connect with the people around her. Her distance from the world leaves her moving through a life full of beauty she cannot truly sense, and the quiet sadness of that isolation defines her everyday existence. One night, her grandmother Kohaku casts a spell beneath fireworks and moonlight she has been drawing on for 60 years, sending Hitomi back to 2018, to the era when Kohaku herself was still in high school. With little time to question what is happening, Hitomi follows Kohaku's instructions, boards a strange train driven by a yellow creature, and steps into a past that seems to obey its own hidden rules. There, she ends up in the room of the stoic artist Yuito Aoi. When Yuito's drawings suddenly fill Hitomi's world with color, she is forced to confront a connection she cannot yet explain. As Hitomi tries to make sense of her mission, she is drawn into the lives around her and into the mystery of why Yuito's art can awaken something she believed was lost forever.
